I (Camille) had the chance to test Moto Guzzi V7 III Racer<\/strong><\/a> across various terrains in a large part of Southwest France. Between highways and mountain paths, sea and country roads, we got along very well.<\/span><\/p>\n

A strong character!<\/h3>\n

When you start this beautifully styled motorcycle, you can't help but adore the V-twin's sway and think to yourself: "yes, it's a character motorcycle<\/strong>, "It moves, it vibrates, it's alive!" First test on a roundabout, not easy because in first gear it tends to be quite twitchy, so you have to carefully control the throttle. Once in second gear, everything is smooth and pleasant., The controls are very responsive and easy to use.<\/strong> Whether by foot or hand. At a red light, finding neutral is easy, yes, that's an important detail!<\/span><\/p>\n

What I loved about this motorcycle was its very sleek and distinctive style. We love its blend of matte chrome gray, scarlet red, and canary yellow. A very vintage look<\/strong> It really stands out, the epitome of Italian class. The small headlight visor is very attractive and proves useful on long straightaways or on the motorway. The Caf\u00e9 Racer riding position initially made me hesitate, as I thought that after so many kilometers, my wrists would ache or my back would hurt. After 1000 kilometers behind the wheel of this machine, I can tell you that I haven't experienced any pain in my wrists or back. <\/span><\/p>\n

A female motorcycle<\/h3>\n

There The position on the motorcycle is ideal.<\/strong> (My bum didn't hurt either) Whether you're short or tall, you can adjust your position on the solo seat. The shock absorbers do their job well, and despite being 1.62m tall, I'm on my toes and can handle it easily. Be careful though when maneuvering at low speeds\u2026 It turns sharply, and the clip-on handlebars can quickly become a problem! On the other hand, it's a real bicycle<\/strong> in the winding mountains of the Basque Country.<\/span> We're making fast progress and having a lot of fun!<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the chassis, I would just say that you need to be a little careful when downshifting too quickly. Indeed, on this motorcycle, all the weight is at the front. As a result, the rear of the bike tends to slide out a bit. However, I'm making this point because the gears are quite long, so there's no need to shift all the time. You can easily take roundabouts in second or third gear; there's no need to downshift every time you slow down.<\/span><\/p>\n
