Patches & Pins, instructions for use!

Patches and Pins, how to use them!

Our iron-on patches

Today we thought we would tell you a little about our patches and their instructions for use. And yes it may seem obvious but sometimes we don't know and we struggle so we would like to save you a waste of time and energy because we want what's best for you! 😉

OUR PATCHES

First of all, you should know that our patches are iron-on, and that's super practical. The technique is very simple:

  • Locate where you want to put your patch.
  • Heat up your iron.
  • Apply the iron to the patch placed in the right place for around 30 seconds, going over the entire surface.
  • The goal is to 'melt the glue' located on the back of the patch!
  • Secondly, to consolidate everything, now that the patch is attached to the fabric, turn the garment over and heat the other side of the badge.
  • Let it cool! tada! Your jacket is customized!

BUT, (because yes, there is always a “but”) be careful because they do not apply in this way to all materials! Customize It's good, but respecting your clothes is even better!

And yes, you can already forget about it iron on your leathers or your clothes made of material synthetic like a k-way for example, it won't go well together.

But then "how do I customize my leather!?" you might ask me. We know that the badass look does not happen by itself and that is why for every problem there is a solution!

You just need to sew your patch on the desired object (because yes, it can be a piece of clothing but also a bag or a hat; imagination has no limits!).

You can limit yourself to some points so that you can remove it more easily later and sew it onto another outfit or you can sew it entirely for a 'single use' (or almost because it is always possible to change things). If you do not know how to sew, there may indeed be a problem... But fortunately the internet gives us its gifts tutorial videos, it's always useful to learn something, right? So it's up to you to play the riders!

OUR PINS

THE pins as for them, they have the advantage of being interchangeable in the sense that you can attach them to a jacket one day and remove them to put them on another the next day for example. You can adapt to each outfit according to your wishes and that's really cool!

And if you have a precise and definitive idea of the garment or you want your pin and you are sure that you will not want to move it later, then I advise you to put a slight glue point behind the latter in order to guarantee its long lasting hold and not lose it in the middle of a ride!

Ps: Avoid the most fragile materials to avoid damaging your belongings. Prevention is better than cure! 😉

Even if this information seems obvious, we wanted to make a mini article about it so that it is clear to everyone and so that we can answer certain questions before they are even asked! (That's what I call outstanding efficiency)!

Find HERE a little one tutorial which can inspire you to create customs with iron-on patches on different 'looks' and accessories.
